To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the launch of Big Comic Original, WHISKY MEW will be releasing five bottles in a row with labels featuring Big Comic Original works. The fourth in the series is the well-known Tsuribaka Nisshi.
The whisky chosen by whisky critic Hideo Yamaoka is Secret Islay 2013. While the distillery is not disclosed, the peaty aroma and flavor perfectly capture the individuality and characteristics of the distillery located on the south coast of Islay. The label, featuring a delighted Hama-chan after catching a big fish, is very catchy. This bottle embodies the image of a single malt from the south coast of Islay, nurtured by the sea breeze, and Hama-chan enjoying sea fishing.
