This program welcomes Kiwako Kurashima, former editor-in-chief of the bar magazine "Koteki Sakaba," as its traveler, and for 60 minutes, explores the profound world of "kanzake." While cold sake offers a sharp flavor, warm sake, with its sweetness and umami enhanced by the temperature, has recently become increasingly popular. The journey begins with a daytime drink at Odawara Fishing Port, where guests savor the fresh bounty of Sagami Bay. Next, they visit Kawanishiya Sake Brewery in Ashigarakami District, where they try "dokanzake" (deep-heated sake) heated to over 60 degrees. Afterward, they visit a small restaurant serving fine sake from Kanagawa Prefecture, where they can enjoy the changing flavors at different temperatures and learn about exquisite pairings with food. Former female jockey and horse racing commentator Junko Hosoe appears as a guest, further enhancing the journey.
