This year marks Hoppy's 75th anniversary
UNIQLO Asakusa store's 2nd anniversary x Hoppy's 75th anniversary project.
Hoppy stamps have been added to "UTme!", a site where you can create your own original T-shirts and tote bags. They are available exclusively at the Uniqlo Asakusa store from Friday, June 16th.
Hoppy Corner
The Hoppy Corner in a corner of the second floor has several pre-designed T-shirts, and if you find a design you like, you can buy it for around 2,000 yen.
Make your own original T-shirt
At the nearby "UTme!" corner, you can easily create original goods using an iPad.
- Choose a Hoppy from the stamps
- Choose a body such as a T-shirt, hoodie, or tote bag
- Freely arrange 9 types of Hoppy stamps
- Once you've decided on a design, call a salesperson.
Please check the designated areas when making your shirt, such as the front for T-shirts and the back for long-sleeved T-shirts. Once you have paid, production will begin.
It's ready in no time
It took about 10 minutes for it to be ready. I thought I'd have a Hoppy at Sho-chan across the street while I waited, but 10 minutes would be too long. I came back 10 minutes later, picked up my T-shirt, and that was it. I ended up going with a fairly conservative design, but I'm very happy with it.
