Two Urusei Yatsura label whiskeys released simultaneously
Rumiko Takahashi's striking debut manga, Urusei Yatsura, was serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday from 1978 to 1987. The story is a slapstick love comedy set in the fictional town of Tomobiki, as well as in space and other dimensions, and centers around the protagonist, the unlucky womanizer Moroboshi Ataru, and the beautiful alien girl Lum, who is devoted to him.
From 2022 to 2023, it will be adapted into a TV anime again for the first time in 36 years, attracting a lot of attention from new generations and long-time fans alike.
We will be releasing two whiskeys from this timeless classic, "Urusei Yatsura."
Ben Nevis 1998 has a sweet aroma like apple jam, a slightly sour fruity taste, and a long, lingering finish. Fruity and very easy to drink, it is a captivating whisky that reflects Lum's cuteness and devilish charm.
Secret Highland 2004 is a highly smoky Highland malt, the distillery of which Hideo Yamaoka, the man who selected the casks, doesn't even know. It's peaty, but gradually develops a sweetness with a pleasant finish. It's a whisky you can enjoy in a variety of ways. It's delicious enough to send a tingle of electricity through your nose.
Why not grab a glass of Lum-chan label whiskey, reminisce about famous scenes from "Urusei Yatsura," laugh together, and get a little drunk?
