Located just outside of Shinbashi, Usagiya is a stand-up soba restaurant with over 70 years of history.
It really soothes the stomach...Usagiya's soba noodles gently fill you up when you have a hangover or when your stomach isn't working well.

I heard rumors that the restaurant was closing, so I decided to ask the owner about it when there were no customers.
Then
"I'm 75 and I'm starting to forget things a lot, so I thought about quitting. But if I quit, I'd just end up drinking. I'm thinking about continuing for a little while longer with my second son."

Wow. Thank you for talking to me, even though I'm such a clumsy person.
I can't write it here, but he also told me some deeper stories.
I really admire the chef who wakes up at 3:30 every morning to fry the tempura and prepare the sauce.

I'm relieved that I can still eat Usagiya's soba noodles.
