Izumi City, Kagoshima Prefecture, has introduced a set of two bottles of "Namazu," a rare shochu that is only released once every five years, as a return gift for hometown tax donations. Brewed by Kamishuzo, this shochu is available in two varieties: "Aka Namazu," an undiluted shochu with an alcohol content of 37%, and "Yon Namazu," a limited edition shochu that is only sold once a year.
