Chiba Prefecture "Stamina Don"
Although it's far from the station and not in a great location, you'll be surprised when you open the door to find Stamina Nomi-san, with both the counter and tables full. While the name sounds like a place that specializes in rice bowls loaded with garlic, it's actually a popular bar run by a married couple that has been in business for 40 years, serving everything from yakitori to sashimi, fried foods, and stews.

appetizer
First up is the appetizer. Kimchi, potato salad, and marinated horse mackerel - a three-item platter that changes every day and hour - piled high on a small plate in a tiny, one-room setting!

Hoppy (white)
The Hoppy (400 yen) is served ready to drink. Ugh! It's hard!

Stewed offal
The intriguing dish is the stewed offal (500 yen). It is made with pork large intestine as the centerpiece, along with small intestine, tripe, and tripe. It also contains brown radish, konjac, and tofu, and is so filling that it overflows from the rice bowl.

Leek omelette
The chive omelet (500 yen) I ordered was also filling, with what seemed to be more than four eggs. I thought it would be bland, but it had a refined flavor with a strong dashi stock. My stomach is almost at its limit... but oh no! I've ordered fried Mexicali!

Vice Sour
To refresh and resetViceI ordered a sour (400 yen). It was poured into an empty Hoppy mug. It's the perfect summer drink! It's delicious! I waited for the Mexicali while sipping on what will likely be my last sour of the year.

Fried Mexican calamari
It's here!!! (゚д゚)
Fried Mexicali (600 yen) in a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7-seater Stepwagon. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. I slowly stuffed seven Mexicali and a baisu (fish) into my stomach, which was reaching its limit.

That was a delicious meal (said after meals)
Wow, I'm so satisfied. I can't eat anymore. I've saved up enough energy for tomorrow's lunch. This is a famous, homey bar where you can enjoy food made with love by the owner. I recommend two people over one, and three over two. Don't order too much, and eat everything!
