Omura City "Tori-chiyo"
Located in Omura City, just a short distance from Nagasaki Airport, which floats like Pocari Sweat in Omura Bay, is Torichyo, a large bar founded in 1977 near Omura Station.
I called before opening time and they were fully booked...
What?! Today is my only day staying in Omura, but unfortunately it's fully booked! Even though it's Thursday!? Well, this is a typical bar situation, or maybe I miscalculated. So I gave up on opening and tried again after 8pm!

Even though there aren't many people walking around the city at night, Torichiyo is packed all the way up to the second floor. "There are customers paying now, so a seat will be available soon," they said, and after waiting for five minutes, I was so glad I didn't give up!

It used to operate in a basement in front of the station, but moved to its current location and expanded many years ago (I heard from the third generation owner). It's a famous bar that represents Omura, and is extremely popular with people of all ages, from the elderly to the young, and you can't get in as a group without a reservation.
stew
The stew is beef tendon dressed with ponzu sauce. It's a combination that seems familiar but isn't seen very often, but it's delicious no matter how you look at it. The grated radish leaves have a presence that goes beyond just being a condiment.

Previously, I searched for stews in Nagasaki City, but it didn't seem like there was a particular stew culture there. If I had to choose, it would be "Sujipon," a cold stew from Hountei. It seems that in Nagasaki, it's common to pair stews with ponzu sauce!
A wide variety of menu items
From yakitori to seafood, fried foods, and hot pot dishes, it has everything you need, making it a welcoming place where you can come from anywhere.

Nagasaki is famous for its whale cuisine. We enjoyed whale tongue "Saezuri" and finished off with some sake.

word used after one has been treated (esp. used after a meal)
Well, I'm glad I didn't give up and managed to get in. In a town I don't often visit, it's important to find a restaurant that allows you to make a reservation without any hassle! I made a note of this on my liver!
