A long-established jazz cocktail lounge in Yokohama Chinatown.WindjammerHowever, due to the deterioration of the building and other reasons, the store will close its doors on Sunday, January 28th next year, marking its 51-year history.
I'm very sorry. There are ways to make use of it as it is. I'd like it to become a dance music record and CD store + cafe. The reason is that there are no second-hand record stores in Yokohama that specialize in dance music. I also thought it was terrible that Tower Records closed its first store, the Motomachi store. I loved that store so much that I wanted it to be buried under all those record stores. If we set up the store in Motomachi and make use of the materials that can be used for the interior, I think the customers who used the store will also come to the store. Please give my regards to the owner. This is the next stage.
Thank you for your comment. This is sad news for record lovers. It's sad to see such a historic store go, but I'm sure it was a difficult decision for the owner.
