Yashiro Shokudo is a family-run restaurant located on Kyokaidori Shopping Street, near the north exit of Ogikubo Station. Since its founding in 1976, the restaurant has been a favorite with locals and office workers alike. The menu, strips of paper covering the walls, ranges from classics like miso-braised mackerel to more original creations like "mabo menchi" (spicy minced mackerel).
