On October 18th, Asahi Shuzo in Nagaoka, Niigata Prefecture, will hold a hands-on workshop at its Nagaoka City brewery to create a "sake grove (cedar ball)," a symbol of the new sake season. In collaboration with the local group "Koshiji Water and Green Association," the workshop will allow participants to experience traditional culture using locally grown cedar leaves.
