Draft Hoppy

We visited Oji's "Hosen" after a tip from Nikomisuto Kyohei-chan. It's a long-established bar that's been in business for about 50 years. The owner told us the story behind the birth of the world's hardest draft Hoppy, and we burst into laughter. We were impressed by the items on display in the bar, and the draft Hoppy kept flowing. Shinagawa "Mikasa" Located in a side street near Shinagawa Station's Konan exit, I visited "Mikasa." The clear "motsu stew" (offal stew) with its kelp dashi stock and the rare "kegashi hoppy" (drafted beer) with its delicate bubbles were both excellent. Furthermore, the incredibly tender fried giara (fish sardines) were also excellent. This small bar was absolutely fantastic.
