At around 11:20 PM on Tuesday, October 7th, a fire broke out at Hashimotoya Honten, a long-established soba restaurant on Honmachi-dori in Morioka City that was founded in 1618. The two-story wooden building, which also served as a residence and store, was completely burned down.
