"If you understand the reason, it tastes even better! A textbook for enjoying whiskey"
Natsume Publishing Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tamura Masataka), a publisher of practical books, children's books, and educational books, released "It tastes even better when you understand the reason! A textbook for enjoying whiskey" on July 16th.
The basics of whiskey: Learn about the five major whiskey producing regions
Whisky used to be thought of as something older men drank, but with the highball boom that began around 2010, it has become popular among younger people, and consumption has increased every year, so we are currently in what could be called a whiskey boom.
This book first provides a thorough explanation of the basics of whiskey, including its history, production process, and various styles.
It also introduces the characteristics and history of the five major whiskey producing regions: Scotland, Ireland, the United States, Canada, and Japan. It also includes information on whiskeys from Taiwan and India, which have recently become popular. It's a useful reference for choosing the whiskey that's right for you. Of course, it also includes individual explanations of popular brands.

Know how to drink and enjoy
This book introduces many ways to handle, store, and choose whiskey, as well as ways to drink it, including in cocktails. It's packed with know-how for enjoying it to the fullest. Whether you drink it straight, in a highball, or in a cocktail, you're sure to find a way to drink it that suits you.
We also introduce various ways to enjoy whiskey, such as the relationship between whiskey and food, how to taste, and tours of breweries.
This book is packed with a variety of information related to whiskey in a compact format, making it enjoyable for both those who already love whiskey and those who are thinking about starting to drink whiskey.
