Takara Shuzo International, in collaboration with Takara Shuzo and Tazaki Foods UK, has developed a canned sake called "Shochikubai SAKE CAN "Sora" Junmai SAKE." This product is part of the "Global Japanese Sake Collaboration Project," and exports to the UK will begin in June 2025.
The export volume of sake to the UK market is on the rise, and this appears to be due to growing environmental awareness, which has led to the popularity of canned drinks, which are easy to recycle.
