In 2022, three hitmakers who retired from Kirin Beer established the Goto Tsubaki Distillery, a craft gin distillery, in the Goto Islands of Nagasaki.

They reached a turning point in their careers at the age of 50, when they decided to focus on brewing sake that is closely connected to the local community. Their craft gin "GOTOGIN" now produces over 3,000 bottles per month, and they continue to take on new challenges while maintaining close ties with the local community.
